It is not a watered down version of his diary, it is his diary so as much as I would recommend this book, be prepared for the good, the bad and the ugly. After reading this I felt quite similar as to how I felt after reading ‘The Secret Barrister Stories Of The Law And How It’s Broken’ by The Secret Barrister how can this be true? How is it possible that this is happening right here, right now? Positive or negative, reading this book will give you an insight into our NHS that, certainly for me, shook me to my core. This is truly an unforgettable read for many reasons. The pain and the funniness somehow add up to something entirely good, entirely noble and entirely loveable.
